Multidrug-Resistant Organism (MDRO) Office Hours

This bulletin is being sent to local health officers, Tribal health directors, public health nurses, local public health department staff, infection preventionists, NHSN Users, and subscribers to the Assisted Living Forum, and DQA Notifications.

MDRO office hours are a new opportunity for health care and public health partners to connect, ask questions, and learn about MDROs and related topics. MDRO office hours will be an open forum staffed by the HAI Prevention Program’s MDRO Infection Preventionist, Greta Michaelson, and Antimicrobial Resistance Epidemiologist, Megan Lasure. 

MDRO office hours occur the second Wednesday of each month from 1–1:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Join us as we discuss a carbapenemase-producing organism outbreak at an animal sanctuary as well as their infection prevention efforts and improvements.
